Practice nurses can offer a wide range of services including:

general advice on a wide range of health matters (many initial enquiries can best be answered by seeing a nurse rather than a doctor)
health promotion advice, especially the assessment and management of risk factors for heart disease and stroke
dressings, treatment of minor wounds, removal of stitches
foreign travel advice and immunisation
tetanus immunisation
childhood immunisations
anti-coagulation clinics

Little Common has a team of five practice nurses and Old Town has four.
